A native of Mauritius, His Grace Madhava Prabhu received his first drum at the age of five. At eighteen, he moved to Vrindavan, India—a sacred place of pilgrimage where kirtan has been performed continuously for centuries. There, he spent the next seven years living in an ashram and actively serving in the 24-hour Kirtan Mandali at ISKCON Vrindavan. When Madhava Prabhu returned to the West, his mentor, His Grace Aindra Prabhu, impressed upon him the responsibility of carrying Kirtan back with him. Since then, Madhava Prabhu has traveled extensively with his wife, Radhika Mataji, inspiring audiences around the world with the transformative power of devotional kirtan. 🙏🏻😊🪷🍋
